“Sharing what we grow and find”
Chad and Sabrina Fairchild of Farm and Forest have a small farm on Nelson Mountain in Walton Oregon. Here they share a little bit about what’s behind Farm and Forest and how their business was born.
“We are Chad & Sabrina Fairchild, a husband and wife team who started selling wild crafted herbal teas, hand salve & wild fruit in 2023 at the Florence Farmers Market. In 2025, we left our other careers behind and jumped into building on to what we were already doing by turning our mountain property into a farm. We are now farming and foraging full-time!
To the wild crafted products, we have added eggs from our free range chickens, organic baked goods, many being gluten free or vegan; canned sauces & jams, and a large variety of seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables we are now growing.
Our motto is “Healthy Food that Tastes Good” and that guides our choices as farmers and what we can offer the public.
What is special about our farm are the many artesian springs that come from deep in the mountain that flow through our property, watering the wild plants that we forage as well as all the plants that we grow. We immensely enjoy spending time in nature and providing for our community.”

Chad and Sabrina are friendly, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. Don’t be shy to stop by, say hi, and see the beautiful plants and products they have to share. Teas, tinctures, salves, jams, wholesome baked treats, produce. When you arrive, you’ll most likely be offered a tea sample, cool, sweet and refreshing, made with herbs and a touch of honey.
