Florence Farmers Market is pleased to welcome a new Market Manager, and Assistant Market Manager this season, Linea and Roanne.
Linea joins the market team this season as FFM Market Manager. We are thrilled to have her! Linea has a wealth of experience in farming, farmers markets and the workings of what makes a market operate. You may recognize her from her market booth a couple years ago. She co-owns Friends and Family Farm in Veneta. Linea has years of experience from all the sides of farming and farmers markets, working as a farmer, market vendor and farmers market board member. We are lucky to have her knowledge and experience, as well as her passion and creativity.
It has been a long time discussion that our market would do well to have more than one person manage all of the ins and outs of what it takes to bring the physical market into being. This year we are pleased to have a pair helping manage all of that. Welcome Roanne, our new Assistant Market Manager. Roanne brings her creativity, her voice, her thoughtful support. Roanne is a professional whole food chef, musician, singer/songwriter and poet. She has shown her commitment to Florence Farmers Market for years and you may recognize her having played music for the market as well as from her creative solar dehydrator demo at the kids table last year, with sun dried snacks and her fun and dynamic engagement.
